Base topogràfica a escala 1:5000 que cobreix tot el territori de les Illes Balears. Les dades que engloba són: relleu, hidrologia, xarxa de transport, edificacions, poblacions i construccions, serveis i instal·lacions, coberta terrestre, punts de referència, administratiu i noms geogràfics.<\/span><\/p>

El nou model de dades Btib cobreix tot el territori estructurat en objectes geogràfics agrupats per temàtiques, sent una informació homogènia a tot el territori, amb una continuïtat territori i una coherència geomètrica. Per tant, es deixa d'utilitzar el full cartogràfic i tenim una cartografia contínua.<\/span><\/p>

La Base topogràfica de les Illes Balears (Btib) té de base de partida les cartografies anteriors amb el model Mapa Topogràfic de les Illes Balears MTIB del 2015 per a Mallorca, Eivissa i Formentera. Es treballen aquestes cartografies vectorials per produir la base topogràfica seguint les indicacions del nou model de dades. Menorca té de base la BTIB2012 i també es realitzen les transformacions pertinents per arribar al model de la Btib.<\/span><\/p>

Amb totes les Illes amb el mateix model de dades, es procedeix a la recerca de canvis entre la cartografia i la fotografia 2018. Un cop detectats els canvis, es procedeix actualització mitjançant la restitució fotogramètrica i edició per a complir tots els paràmetres establerts a les especiacions tècniques d'exactitud posicional, exactitud temàtica, consistència lògica i completesa. <\/span><\/p>
